John Grimwade is Graphics Director at Condé Nast Traveler. He started his career at the Sunday Times of London, working with Peter Sullivan, then became head of graphics at The Times. Now based in New York, Grimwade has produced freelance infographics for 24 magazines and numerous books. In 1999, he received a President's medal from SND for his contunuing involvement with the Show, Don't Tell! workshop.

Juan Velasco is journalist, graphic artist and consultant. He worked for El Mundo (Spain) from 1991 to 1996, and later as graphics art director at The New York Times. In January 2002, he established his own company, 5W Infographic, an infographics and multimedia consulting firm. As a consultant, Mr Velasco has worked on graphics newsroom reorganization for newspapers in Europe and Latin America. He has received more than 50 SND awards, 10 Malofiej awards and one award from AIGA.

Alberto Cairo is head of online infographics at elmundo.es He has a degree in Journalism by the University of Santiago de Compostela. He started as a graphic artist working for La Voz de Galicia in 1997, later he went to Diario16 (Madrid) and afterwards he joined the renowned interactive graphics department at elmundo.es, team responsible for numerous Malofiej, NetMedia, ÑH and SND.ies awards, with a special mention to the global quality of the online graphics made at elmundo.es.

Geoff McGhee. Since 2002 Geoff McGhee has served as Enterprise Editor of NYTimes.com, the news and information website of The New York Times. He manages a multimedia staff of six who produce photos, multimedia and infographics for the site, which serves over one milliom users per day. He has reported for the website on such national stories as the California recall, the 2004 presidential campaigns and the redevelopment of Ground Zero in Lower Manhattan. His work was cited in the 2002 Communication Arts Interactive Annual, and in 2003 the NYTimes.com multimedia staff won awards from the Society for News Design, Editor and Publisher, the Online News Association and the Society of Publication Designers.
